Scream VI

Paramount asked me to creatively promote the release of Scream VI in Italy.

I could have talked about the movie.
I could have reacted to the trailer.
Instead, I thought: what if I just stepped inside it?

So I found the right location, assembled a small crew, shot my own scenes — and seamlessly edited myself into the official trailer.

For a few terrifying seconds, I became part of Scream.

I developed the concept, assembled the production team, scouted the location, directed the original scenes and carried the idea through editing, sound design and final delivery.

The Challenge

Paramount asked me to creatively promote the Italian release of Scream VI.

Rather than simply reacting to the film or republishing existing material, I wanted to create something that could feel like it belonged inside the world of Scream itself.

The Idea

The Outcome

What if I could step inside the official trailer?

I developed new scenes inspired by the locations, tension and visual language of the film — then designed them to blend seamlessly with footage from the original trailer.

For a moment, the line between promotion and movie disappears.

The Approach

I scouted a location that could convincingly live within the Scream universe, assembled a small crew and cast an additional performer.

We recreated the atmosphere on location, carefully matching framing, lighting, pacing and performance. In post-production, I combined our original material with the official trailer, refining the edit and sound design so the transitions felt as seamless as possible.

Role
& Contribution

A piece of promotional content that didn't simply tell audiences about Scream VI — it played with the film itself, transforming its official trailer into something new, surprising and personal.
