Print #1 - U Cannolo

The idea to use a cannolo - the traditional dessert from Sicily, Italy - as decoration for a smoking suit came to me before falling asleep. In 2019, I was working on a short movie about the origins of this famous pastry, and I couldn't think of anything else for days! 

Once the ideas flashed through my mind, that was it! I had to make it happen! It took me a couple of days to organise the shooting with a tailor, an actor, and my trusted pastry chef, Vincenzo. 

That day, we created this wonderful juxtaposition. 

Sicily, the island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea is for me an important port. I often come here to heal and prepare for my next travels. And the Cannolo reminds me of it—a symbol.
